Not all applications will ask for a cover letter, but when they do, a well written letter could mean the difference between your application being rejected, or selected for an interview. It’s your opportunity to give the recruiter a clear and concise summary of your skills and experience, and show why you’re different from other applicants.
If you’re not applying for a specific vacancy, but are contacting recruiters to see if they have any potential roles, we can also provide generic cover letters.
As an alternative to a cover letter, you might prefer to have an introductory summary. This can be used in the text of an email when sending your CV to potential employers, or to agencies.
Before any work starts, we ensure that we fully understand your previous work history. We also discuss your key skills and experience that show you’re right for a role, and your unique selling points.
Cover Letter Service includes:
1. An in-depth consultation with you by telephone or Microsoft Teams / Zoom on a day and time that suits you, including evening and weekend appointments
2. A targeted cover letter if you are applying for a specific vacancy
A generic cover letter if you are taking a speculative approach to finding a new role
3. A final copy of the letter or summary sent to you in Word and PDF format
